Tents and a big boy bed!!

Spencer is now in a BIG BOY BED!!!! He loves it he is so very excited about it. He has slept in the big bed for 4 nights now and has only fallen out twice. What a big boy. He gets so excited when we put him in the bed. Spencer is growing so fast. He is now 19 months old. He loves trains, cars and Buzz light year. He is very much a boy. next we will be working on the potty training thing. well we will wait a little bit on that.

Emma is in love with tents. So we have been making lots of tents lately. She has a blast and I get to clean up the mess. oh how exciting!! She also loves to pose for pictures. I just can't believe how fast they are growing.
I am so glad that I am able to stay home with my kids and enjoy their lives with them. I would hate to miss any of it!!

4 Months Later!

Wow its crazy how time fly's!!! Spencer is 4 Months old today! Amazing! He is growing like a weed. He is starting to roll over. You can see the wheels in his little head turning. He play with his toy and will give a you a huge smile when you talk to him. And he LOVES his thumb. Yes folks you heard me right I have a thumb sucker. And He loves every moment of it!! I sure Love him he is so handsome! Just take a look.

His Sister loves him so much!! He lights up when he see's her. Its so sweet!!

Well, here he is our newest member of the family!!!! Spencer Gordon Hartman. He arrived on Monday June 22, 2009 @ 8:35 am. I was induced Sunday night @ 11:30pm. I wasn't very excited about that but, we went and it worked. Once I started to dilate and my water broke, It went fast. When the doctor came in I was already a plus 3 and so I pushed about 2-3 times and he was out! It was fast. He was 8 lbs and 20 1/4 inch long. With lots of hair. And we sure do love him!!!

Storybook love

Emma Loves here kittens. Yesterday afternoon she decided to go out side and read to Maci. Maci sat there for a long time and let Emma read to her. It was the cutest thing ever.
These cats are so good to Emma. They must really love her because she is quite ruff with them. but they let her and don't ever really get mad. I am amazed!! That was the excitement of our day. It was a Hot and humid day. And I was miserable. I am so glad I am almost done. I don't think I could make it to Aug. or Sep. It's just too hot!!!! Plus I can't wait to see my little Spencer!!!

Fishing

If playing in the pool all day and washing cars wasn't exciting enough. what if we add fishing to the day too. Saturday evening Jay wanted to take Emma fishing. So off we went.
Pappaw came with us and that's Wayne standing behind Pappaw David and Emma

We were going to go to Estan Teters were you are guaranteed a a fish. well he closed a 6:00 and we didn't get there until 7:00. (The Yankees were playing ball. So we had to watch and of course they won!!!)
So we headed to Wayne's house, Just up the road. He has a pond of cat fish and he let us fish there. Hes a good friend of the family. Anyway Emma loved helping Jay reil in the fish, But, didn't want anything to do with them after that. She wouldn't even stand next to Jay and let me take her picture with the fish. She said, "I don't like that. Emma don't like fish." She is so silly. but, she had fun.
Is she not the cutest thing ever. I don't think we will ever get her out of wearing dresses. Crazy girl. She loved to hold the fish pole. Silly!!!

Well today we decided to play out side. Jay wanted to wash the cars. So while he started that I ran in to a yard sale and got some clothes for Baby Spencer. I love yard sales. Emma came with me. When we got back I wanted to get Emma's pool out. Which was perfect jay washed cars and I played with Emma in the pool!! The water was really cold. Emma wasn't very excited at first because it was so cold.

Jay is such a good husband!! I Sure do love him!!!!!

I love her swim suit. She got it for her birthday. She looks so cute!! I just love my family. And yes there were a few pictures of me but, I am so not very good looking right now. I looked so big. I just couldn't upload a picture of me. Sorry :( But, I will soon.

It's been a while!!

Hey my Friends!! Well I thought today I would blog!! A lot has happened in just a couple months. In Jan. you know that we found out that we were having a boy. Emma moved in to a big bed. And loves it. In Feb. I flew out to Utah for a week. My cousin Jamie came and stayed with us for 2 1/2 months. That was fun, hard, and good learning experience. We love Jamie but, are glad to have our home back just to ourselves! March we potty trained Emma she is doing great sleeps through the night. We have a few accidents but nothing major. I can't complain. Also Emma turned two March 30. We had a small party. And we had he two year pictures taken.

Is she not the cutest thing ever!!! We sure love her, even if she drives me crazy sometimes. It's always mommy's turn. We had another ultrasound as well, He's still a boy.

That's my cute Spencer. we can't wait to see him. Let's see April I guess comes next. I made Emma a pretty blue Easter dress. And well she loves it. We had to fight to get it off her. Sop I made another dress this time yellow. Well we couldn't get that dress off her either so I made two more. That's all she will wear. Shes like her mom. All I ever wanted to wear was dresses.

Easter morning. I was taking a shower and while doing so, she found her Easter basket. And that's all she wanted was chocolate after that. she made a mess. :) And now May, Things are going well. Jay is playing ball and Emma loves watching Beauty and the Beast. And I am getting fatter by the minute. I am so excited. I love my family. Everything is well here in Frankiln.

Snow Day

A Snow Day!!! Yea!! I think it would have been nice to grow up in West Virginia. Anytime it snows or sometimes even the thought of snow school is canceled!!

Our neighbors Raven and Alexis came and took Emma sled riding. Emma had a blast.

My cute pink marshmallows first sled ride!!! She loves the snow! She did a nice face plant in the snow it was so funny. We didn't get the picture, she didn't like being face first in the snow.
It's nice having to young neighbors who love to play with Emma. I just wish that it would snow some more. Now the snow is turning into Ice. I hate that!! Anyway, we had fun this morning in the snow!

Hi everyone!! I had my ultrasound yesterday. Jay and I are so excited!! Emma doesn't know what the heck is going on but, we are all so happy!! See if you can guess what the baby is!

Hi everyone!!! I am in Utah!!!! And it's snowing!!!! I am so excited to be here. Emma did really well on the plane. It's a long flight. I am glad to be on the ground!!!

Pregnancy update.
I am also doing great. I saw the doctor at the begging of the month and heard the baby's heart beat. I love that. we will find out what we are having in Jan. I can't wait!!

Anyway, I will try to do better at keeping you all informed of whats going on in the life of Kim

A Week Late!!

Well I am a week late on Halloween pictures of Emma.
But, here she is. My pretty little fairy!

She is really well Trick or Treating. She was a
little scared at first but then she got the hang of it.

As for me, I am doing well so far with this new baby.

We have two names picked out, But I want some feed back.

oh, and so more exciting news my brother Paul (well Jeni) just a
little baby boy. Yea me!!!! Another nephew. I can't wait to see him.

oh, and one last thing guess who's coming home for Christmas???

Everyone has been asking me if we are going to have more kids. Well Jay and I having been trying for a while now. And all the hard work has paid off. We just found out. I'm not very far along. We are guessing at a June 20thish baby. We are so excited!!!

Apple Cider

A morning of fun!!

Oh what a morning!!!

At least she still has her shoes on.

A morning or fun, well more of a morning of fit throwing. Emma and I got up this morning ate breakfast, watched some news, read some books, played all those fun things. Until I took her shoes off to change her diaper and put her clothes on. First of all she loves shoes, I don't know if that's a good thing at 17 months to love shoes. She already has a closet full and throws a fit if you take her shoes off. She has to have her shoes. When we go to the store she loves to look at the shoes and that's all she talks about, Shoes! But not only did I take her shoes off I took her pj's off and put on a cute white shirt and some pants and that did it. She cried and cried, so we took that outfit off, went and got another, tried to put that on. She cried and cried some more. So then we took that outfit off she ran around the house in her diaper and shoes. Finally I got her to put a dress on. She must take after her mom. When I was little all I wanted to wear was dresses. Shoes, dresses, ans only 17 months. I don't know if I'll make it though teenage years if it's already this bad with shoes and clothes. :)

If I had one wish!

If I had one wish, There is a lot I would consider. Like having all my bills paid, or having a big nice fancy car, or having a live in nanny who changes all the stinky diapers. Or a dish washer (no I don't have one, well if you ask Jay he would says he does Ha Ha) Maybe I would even wish that I lived by both families. But, no all I want is a big bath tub and a hour by my self. Needless to say that is one thing I don't have or will have probably for a long time. Jay was nice enough last night to take Emma down to the cabins so I could take a bath. And well I was only in my little tiny 1970's blue bath tub for about 15 min. before they got back. I know that is a long time for a mom to have time to herself. But, then when they got home both of them had to come and find me and tell me about all the deer they saw. (Jay is a big hunter.) This picture is our little humble, one and only bathroom.

My little Emma love suckers, and what a mess she makes, but with cute moments like this how can you deny her all the fun stickyness??
The love of a mom for her child is one no one knows until they are you own. My sister-in-law loves all of her kids but, with her littlest, little Annie she said how much she loves everything, even her poop. and that she could just eat it up.( I know that sounds so disgusting but now that I have my own I understand. ) I almost hate to see her grow, I know that one day soon she will come to me and say mom, I am getting married or going off to college. And my sticky sucker moments will only be memories and not messes to clean.

The moments in life that we love pass so quickly that sometimes we forget to cherish even the messy moments that we might not enjoy. we never know what tomorrow will bring.

Today I am trying to become a blogger! And I know absolutely nothing about it. I live in my own little world, where just in the last year I purchased a cell phone and I just got a ipod for my birthday which was just last month. I don't get out of my little world very often. I do however love it here in the boondocks! Its very quite and very beautiful.
My little family consists of Me, my husband Jay and our little stinker Emma. Who is in a faze where she loves to bite. In just the last week she has bitten 3 of here cousins and me. Which is very embarrassing when you are at a wedding reception and your child pushes down one little boy and then goes a bites another little girl. I tell ya shes really cute, but I thing that she has hit the terrible twos early. What is a mommy to do??
